Which Color Clothes Should I Wear For Winter?

“It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” as the song goes, but even though it’s getting close to Christmas, it may not be so wonderful when you don’t want to wear the Christmas sweater you’ve already used 6 times this week, all different occasions.

And you definitely are not wearing the Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer leggings.

Don’t worry, you can pick normal colored clothes with no Christmas patterns and pair them up with cute necklaces, bracelets, and ear clips or earrings. Here are some casual, but pretty, colors for winter:

  • 1. Gray. I know it may seem like a dull color, but it pairs really well with almost anything.
  • 2. Orange. Bold, but cheerful.
  • 3. Green. Now you can match your Christmas tree!
  • 4. Red. Now you buy some poinsettias to match your sweater!
  • 5. Black. Although it looks better if you wear a necklace or earrings.
  • 6. Purple. Pretty and cheerful!

Also, when it comes to nail polish, don’t be afraid to go for something eye catching. I was thinking about trying green and red nail polish, but I thought maybe it would be too bright, or not look good on my nails. When I went to my dance class two days ago a girl in my class had red and green nail polish, and it looked AMAZING on her. Maybe I’ll still paint my nails that color or do something Christmasy. But the point is, you shouldn’t worry about what other people think, and should not make excuses for yourself.

Lastly, I will be posting outfit ideas based on what I just said. I will try to pick normal clothes that you might already have in your closet, so if you want, you can try wearing the outfits. Posts about the outfits will be on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
